BEIJING, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) — Building a community with a shared future for mankind has evolved from an initiative proposed by China into a consensus in the international community, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu said Friday.
The initiative has evolved from a beautiful dream into a multifaceted practice, making a historic transition from bilateral to multilateral, from regional to global, from development to security, and from cooperation to governance, Ma Zhaoxu said at a press conference on the upcoming Victory Day celebrations in China.
“The new vision has overcome the rules of the ‘narrow circles’ of bloc politics, the hegemonic logic of ‘power above all else’, providing a new approach to international relations and global governance,” the deputy minister stated.
