Moscow, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to China will be completely unprecedented, and preparations for it are currently underway, the Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing on Wednesday.
According to D. Peskov, a schedule of bilateral meetings of the Russian leader is being formed.
As RIA Novosti reported, at the end of the week, V. Putin will go on a four-day visit to China. From August 31 to September 1, the Chinese city of Tianjin will host the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, in which the Russian president will take part.
On September 3, a military parade will be held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and World War II. The Russian President has also been invited to the celebrations.
