In Moscow, more than 60 areas near educational institutions have been improved. The work was carried out by specialists from the city economy complex. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.
"By the beginning of the new school year, we completed comprehensive measures to renovate the territories of over 60 educational institutions, including as part of the My School reconstruction program. The main task was to create comfortable and safe spaces for students in accordance with modern requirements, since children spend quite a lot of time on the territories of schools and kindergartens," said Pyotr Biryukov.
During the work, modern children's and sports playgrounds with rubber surfaces and various equipment were equipped. Particular attention was paid to the safety of children – video surveillance systems and lanterns with energy-efficient lamps were installed. In addition, comfortable places for outdoor recreation and street furniture appeared. Lawns were laid near schools and kindergartens, and landscapers will plant large plants in the fall.
