From January to July 2025, the capital Department of City Property assigned addresses to 87 schools, kindergartens, renovation buildings, sports, cultural and other socially significant facilities.
As a rule, addresses are assigned to new objects at the stage of issuing a permit for the construction of real estate. Specialists of the Moscow City Bureau of Technical Inventory (MosgorBTI) perform the technical part of the work and also maintain the capital's address register of objects.
"In January-July 2025, addresses received two and a half times more socially significant real estate objects than in the same period of 2024. These are 87 buildings, including 28 houses under the renovation program, 23 educational institutions, eight transport infrastructure and security facilities, as well as administrative, religious, medical, cultural and sports institutions. Educational organizations with new addresses are designed for 6.5 thousand students and 3.2 thousand kindergarten students," she said.

The largest number of new addresses appeared in the Southern Administrative District. 18 buildings received marks on the map. Among them are a residential complex with two swimming pools on Orekhovy Proezd (building 12), a building under the renovation program on Yerevanskaya Street (building 4, block 2) and several metro facilities on Besedinskoye Shosse (building 17a). The Eastern Administrative District and the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky Administrative Districts were also among the leaders, where new addresses were assigned to 12 and 14 social facilities, respectively.
"In addition to participating in the addressing process, MosgorBTI specialists also conducted surveys of real estate objects. In particular, engineers prepared technical passports and plans for 21 buildings built under the renovation program and assigned addresses in the first half of 2025. A set of procedures for assigning an address, conducting a technical inventory and cadastral work is a mandatory step for putting socially significant city objects into operation," said Dmitry Tetushkin, General Director of MosgorBTI.
