During the entire period of the special military operation (SVO), the owners of the capital's stores transferred a large amount of construction materials, as well as military equipment and vehicles to the combat zone. Many entrepreneurs personally purchase everything they need at the request of friends and acquaintances who are at the front.
A hardware department store in the Gagarinsky district sent chainsaws to the 72nd division. An auto parts store in Yuzhnoye Chertanovo gave the fighters of the BARS-7 volunteer unit refrigerators, radio stations, diesel generators, electronic warfare equipment, electric matches and other consumables.
The owners and tenants of the shopping center in Severnoye Chertanovo donated funds, which the volunteers used to purchase uniforms, quadcopters, generators, and even cars for the military personnel.
A large humanitarian aid shipment was collected by employees of a hardware store from the Nagorny district – more than 80 household goods left from there, including pliers, tape, hammers and screwdrivers, levels, sets of keys, hacksaws, axes and nail pullers.
A generator that can operate for about 10 hours without refueling was sent to the fighters by the owners of a small retail outlet from Zapadnoye Biryulyovo. A robot drone was sent to the front by a store on Arbat Street, and a car dealership from Pokrovsky-Streshnevo — 280 gas cylinders.
From walkie-talkies to candles
Industrial goods (glue, rags and gloves) were collected for the SVO participants by a low-price store in the Yuzhnoye Tushino district. Employees of an electronics store from Strogino sent low-beam car bulbs, as well as fog lights, halogen bulbs and parking lights — more than 150 pieces in total.
Employees of a department store from the Levoberezhny district donated anti-drone systems, satellites, radios, camouflage nets and other items needed in the combat zone to the Luhansk People's Republic. A clothing store in Ochakovo-Matveyevskoye sent a dirt bike and 50 sets of all-season field uniforms to the fighters.
Several Patriot vehicles, thermal imagers, sights, protective equipment and other items were collected by employees of a shopping center (TC) and a car dealership in the Mozhaisk district. Another TC in Severnoye Izmailovo sent more than 130 candles, gas burners and cylinders for them.
Entrepreneurs from the Novogireevo district sent construction materials to the city of Gorlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic, and from Golyanovo, binoculars, helmets and other protective items, as well as cables.
Since the first days of the special military operation, owners of Moscow stores, shopping centers, car dealerships, service establishments, as well as Moscow restaurateurs have been regularly sending humanitarian aid to the combat zone. The parcels contain products that have a long shelf life: canned meat, fish and vegetables, various cereals, pasta, as well as sweets – cookies, candies, chocolate and much more. Entrepreneurs donate personal hygiene products, medicines, seasonal clothing and footwear, among which you can find jackets, boots and thermal underwear, as well as building materials and even military equipment, including quadcopters and entire columns of cars.
