In addition, agreements were signed with Egypt, Mexico, Brazil and Turkey. They agreed to study the experience in developing urban film clusters and stimulate the exchange of film crews between countries.
Other important events of the film week included the launch of the Moscow film truck, a unique mobile cinema with a screen built into the back of a car. It moved around various venues and showed domestic films and foreign films from Italy, France, the USA, Germany, Serbia and other countries.
Russian film companies became part of the Moscow charity project “City of the Caring”, together with which they held a film auction.
And of course, there were many film screenings, autograph sessions, meetings with stars and famous guests, including directors Woody Allen and Emir Kusturica.
Moscow International Film Week has ended. The largest cinematic event brought together about 200 events and more than 700 thousand guests. It is expected that next year it will be no less large-scale and memorable.
