Project "Summer in Moscow" covers all areas of activity in the capital: free creative and culinary master classes and sports events are held for residents, theater groups and musicians perform. Every guest, regardless of age, will find a hobby to their liking – from drawing to dancing in the fresh air.
A large role in the project is given to supporting business – you can buy souvenirs and have a snack on the streets. The festival sites of "Moscow Seasons" traditionally attract the attention of visitors: exclusive jewelry and handicrafts, home decor items, educational children's toys and other pleasant little things are on display on the shelves.
Free rent
All places in the Moscow Seasons shopping chalets are provided to entrepreneurs free of charge. This summer, 250 Moscow companies sold their products there. Half of them are representatives of the catering industry, who offered guests dishes from various cuisines of the world, healthy sweets, and unusual drinks. Other participants, including collectors of the vintage market on Revolution Square and in the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, represent the trade sector.
The opportunity to introduce city residents and guests of the capital to their goods on the central streets has a positive economic effect. Many festival participants choose the Moscow Seasons sites as their main point, refusing other places.
Living decor
Unusual flower arrangements were sold on Tverskaya Square. Alena Tryakhova, the owner of a studio of phytodesign and decor from stabilized moss, has already participated in city festivals and always returns to the sites of the "Moscow Seasons".
"I like working offline because I have a non-standard product – items with stabilized moss. Many people don't know what it is, and the sellers and I introduce people to completely new decor. Visitors see unusual techniques, take business cards and then ask for gifts for their loved ones. This is how larger orders come in," said Alena Tryakhova.
According to the entrepreneur, it is very convenient to work in a trading chalet: you can bring goods not only at night, as in other areas, but also during the day. Security is also organized at the highest level, and the structures themselves are thought out so that both small compositions and large, voluminous products fit on the shelves.
Another advantage is the absence of rent. The entrepreneur plans to use the saved funds to develop her business.
Special ice cream
In summer, city dwellers especially love to buy ice cream. On Strastnoy Boulevard, they sell not only a tasty, but also a healthy dessert. Violetta Gerasimchuk, the creator of the brand, last year occupied a retail chalet on Tverskoy Boulevard and already then, thanks to the Summer in Moscow project, she found regular customers. The entrepreneur and her husband make special ice cream without sugar and milk, which can be consumed by people with diabetes, immunodeficiency and intolerance to certain foods.
"We are very happy that we were chosen – we managed to develop a very large customer base, which waits a whole year to come to us again. Most of them became our friends – there was a touching story when the parents of a little girl with a complex allergy were finally able to find a dessert for her. The first ice cream of such quality and with such unique flavors that she tried in her life was ours. In gratitude, the family baked bread for us," shared Violetta Gerasimchuk.
Thanks to the free rental of a site in the very center of Moscow, the entrepreneur can organize tastings, give guests delicious gifts and offer discounts.
Porcelain flowers
The designer compositions of porcelain flowers and handmade decorations within the framework of the project "Summer in Moscow" were brought to Tverskaya Square by their creator Maria. She noted that it is comfortable to work here primarily thanks to the administrators, who always promptly resolved any issues and maintained a friendly atmosphere.
"We didn't have to worry about safety – we left the goods and went home without any worries. The counters and trading houses are made as convenient as possible, the structures are very strong, which is important for our fragile products," added Maria.
The opportunity to display her products in the very center of the city helped Maria gain popularity on social networks. Residents and guests of the capital got acquainted with decorative items simply by walking around the capital, and almost no one went home empty-handed.
Thanks to this, the owner of a small business managed to increase revenue. It also helped that there was no need to invest in renting a site.
