BEIJING, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) — The 7th China International New Materials Industry Fair will be held from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 in Harbin, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, according to a statement posted on the website of the Harbin Municipal Government.

The upcoming event will focus on the deep integration of artificial intelligence and the new materials industry. Through the organization of various events and innovative exhibitions, it will create a platform for global cooperation and exchange in the field of new materials.

The fair will consist of four main sections, including the opening ceremony, exhibitions, key meetings and side events. In particular, the theme exhibitions will showcase the innovative achievements of China's new materials industry during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025).

As for the 33 parallel events and a series of supporting events, they will cover China-South Korea and China-Russia industrial cooperation talks, China-Europe seminar on technological achievements transformation, new product launches, etc.
