During the first half of 2025, more than 600 specialists from the Company and its subsidiaries underwent specialized training in 3D modeling at the Training Center of the Ufa Scientific Institute of Rosneft.
As part of the training, students received practical skills in creating and editing information models of capital construction projects using digital software products, as well as preparing technical documentation.
Ufa Corporate Research Institute is one of the leaders in the development of 3D design in Russia. Using information modeling technologies, the institute's specialists have designed hundreds of industrial facilities for the company's largest production enterprises. The information model helps oil workers confirm the possibility of safe operation. Subsequently, the digital project is used at the stages of reconstruction and technical re-equipment of facilities.
This year, a new course on the profession of "TIM Manager"* was introduced into the program of the Training Center. The course contains a unique set of practical exercises on real projects, which allows students to thoroughly learn and consolidate the educational material.
Every year, more than 2.5 thousand people undergo training in various programs of the Training Center of the Ufa Scientific Institute of Rosneft. In 2025, the collection of educational programs of the Ufa Institute was replenished with courses on the basics of working in the unique corporate software packages RN-Drilling Calculations, RN-SMT, RN-STIM and the information system RN-KIN.
*TIM manager is a specialist who manages the process of formation and development of information models of capital construction projects. His responsibilities include organizing the interaction of participants in an investment and construction project, developing a project plan implemented using information modeling (TIM) technologies in accordance with the resources, standards and business processes of the organization, coordinating work on the project, etc.
