Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova took part in the opening ceremony of the IV International Children's Cultural Forum at the Moscow Palace of Pioneers. The forum will continue its work until August 23.

"The forum is being held for the fourth time, and during this time, extensive educational and cultural experience has been accumulated. Almost 2 thousand children from all regions of our country and 17 countries of the world came – Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Oman, Turkey, Serbia, Cuba and others. Such a wide representation, of course, indicates that the forum is traditionally an effective platform for international cultural dialogue, communication of our future creators. Children from all regions of our country and foreign countries can meet here, share their creative developments and plans. Every year we integrate new communication formats into the forum program, thereby forming a cultural code," Tatyana Golikova noted in her speech.

The space of the Palace of Pioneers has become a grand creative platform where aspiring musicians, artists, actors and journalists can demonstrate their talents, communicate with famous cultural figures and create their own projects.

According to the established tradition, the curators of the forum's areas are outstanding figures in Russian culture: Sergei Bezrukov (artistic director of the Moscow Provincial Theatre, People's Artist of the Russian Federation), Yevgeny Mironov (artistic director of the State Theatre of Nations, People's Artist of the Russian Federation) and Edgard Zapashny (general director of the Bolshoi Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Avenue, People's Artist of the Russian Federation) – "Theater and Circus", Kristina Trubinova (general director of the A.A. Bakhrushin State Central Theatre Museum) – "Museums and Fine Arts", Egor Druzhinin (choreographer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation) – "Choreography", Dmitry Bak (director of the V.I. Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature) – "Literature and Journalism", Gavriil Gordeyev (general producer of Okko, president and ideologist of the International Festival of Children's, Family Cinema and Animation "Bear Cub") – "Cinema and animation”, Olga Khomova (General Director of the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation) – “Music”.

Every day, the curators and speakers of the forum will meet with participants at various venues, conduct master classes, hold open dialogues, answer questions and share invaluable experience and knowledge. Together with the State Fund for Support of Participants of the Special Military Operation "Defenders of the Fatherland", a lecture by veterans of the SVO "Serving the Fatherland. Preserving Memory" will be held, as well as the traditional action "Letter to a Soldier", within the framework of which children – participants of the forum write letters to SVO fighters.

A total of 107 events will be held from August 21 to 23, with 120 speakers taking part in the program.

The event is organized by the Russian Ministry of Culture and Rosconcert.
