BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — China's National Flood Relief and Drought Control Headquarters on Thursday activated a Level 4 emergency response mechanism over the threat of flooding in northeast China's Liaoning, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.
According to weather forecasters, heavy rains and downpours in some places will occur in the regions indicated from Thursday to Friday.
