Dear friends!
I congratulate you on the start of the new work semester of student medical teams.
This year, there are 15,000 schoolchildren and students in your ranks. You will work in clinics and hospitals, sanatoriums and children's camps, first aid stations and pharmacies – providing assistance to those who need it. Thanks to you, over 1 million people will receive various types of medical care.
You are the future of Russian medicine, its most energetic and responsive reserve. Ahead of you are difficult but invaluable tasks: the first independent manipulations under the sensitive guidance of mentors, communication with patients, teamwork, decision-making in non-standard situations.
Over the entire period of its existence, 47 thousand medical students have already passed through the school of medical teams. The geography of the work of student medical teams has expanded from Arkhangelsk to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Since 2022, members of medical teams have been helping in Donbass as part of humanitarian missions.
In student medical teams, friendship with young people from foreign countries develops and strengthens. Every year, 30 participants of student medical teams from Kyrgyzstan and Belarus participate in all-Russian labor projects of the RSO in Tatarstan and the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass.
A separate chapter in the history of medical teams was the formation of student medical teams, which include students from India. This experience is being successfully implemented in the Altai Territory.
