BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) — The National Museum of China (NMC) announced Tuesday that it will soon hold exhibitions in Beijing and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with relevant institutions to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.

In particular, one of the exhibitions, which will be held under the title “International Friends and China’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,” is planned to open at the NMC in Beijing in early September.

Another exhibition is expected to be held from August 27 to December 15 at the Hong Kong History Museum. It will feature 183 items from the HMC and the Hong Kong museum's own collection, from various museum and cultural institutions in Hong Kong, and from Hong Kong collectors. -0-
