WASHINGTON, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday that he had called Russian President Vladimir Putin and started preparing for a bilateral meeting between Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a yet-to-be-determined location.
“After this meeting, there will be a three-way meeting, which will include the two presidents, as well as myself. Again, this was a very good first step toward ending the hostilities that have been going on for almost four years,” D. Trump wrote on his page on the Truth Social social network.
