URUMQI, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) — The first computer production line entirely built with domestic technology was put into operation in the city of Kashgar in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Saturday.

This production line is located in Kashgar and covers an area of 2,300 square meters, integrating China's advanced intelligent manufacturing technology.

“Once the production line is fully operational, the annual production capacity will reach 80,000 units /sets/, which is expected to generate about 1 billion yuan in annual revenue,” said Xue Xiangdong, chairman of Donghua Software Co., Ltd., at the launch ceremony.

It is worth noting that Donghua Software Co., Ltd. announced its intention to jointly establish a “cross-border certification platform for information technology products” with local authorities. Its work will focus on promoting the widespread recognition of “Made in Kashgar” brand computer equipment in Central Asian countries and promoting the development of cooperation in the digital economy under the Belt and Road Initiative. -0-
