Moscow, August 15 /Xinhua/ — Two people have been rescued from under the rubble after an emergency at an industrial plant in the Ryazan region, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.
“At the scene of the incident in the Ryazan region, specialists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Russian National Guard rescued two people from under the rubble,” the report says.
According to preliminary data, five people died as a result of the emergency, and 112 people are known to have been injured.
“Search and rescue operations will be carried out around the clock,” the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported. –0–
