BEIJING, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) — An exhibition aimed at praising the contributions of overseas Chinese to bringing about victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War opened in Beijing on Thursday.

The exhibition, which contains nearly 400 exhibits, is being held at the China Museum of Chinese History and is organized to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory in these wars.

The event aims to pay tribute to the huaqiao for their selfless support of the Chinese nation when it was on the brink of life and death. The exhibition will show the unfading feats of the huaqiao in these wars in a panoramic manner, and also celebrate their great spirit in the anti-Japanese war.

This is the first comprehensive exhibition on this topic since the museum opened in 2014, featuring relevant real exhibits.

The museum also collaborated with the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Returned Chinese to organize photo exhibitions in several cities in the province. -0-
