ISLAMABAD, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) — A symposium to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War was held in the Pakistani capital on Monday.
It was attended by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong.
“Let us draw strength from history and work together to build a future where everyone lives in peace, cooperation and prosperity,” the Pakistani politician said.
