BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — The Longjiang No. 1 warehouse for Russian goods in Suifenhe City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, has been sending out about 4,000 orders daily in recent weeks. The figure is expected to exceed 10,000 when the peak sales season arrives in October, according to information posted on the Suifenhe city government website recently.
As one of the important hubs of China-Russia border trade, Longjiang No.1 Warehouse attracts a large number of consumers with its highly efficient supply chain and ability to supply high-quality Russian goods.
As orders continue to grow rapidly, more workers will be hired to work at the warehouse, which in turn will help boost employment in the city and the local economy, the warehouse administration said.
In the future, Longjiang No.1 Warehouse Management plans to improve the supply chain and increase distribution efficiency to meet the high consumer demand for Russian goods.
It is worth recalling that Longjiang No.1 Warehouse was opened in Suifenhe in November 2024 by Tianfusheng International Logistics Company. Suifenhe City Hall intends to use this warehouse to establish cooperative relationships with Russian goods suppliers, relevant distributors and traders, as well as e-commerce workers throughout China, so as to enhance Suifenhe's influence as a collection and distribution center for Russian-made goods. -0-
