BRUSSELS, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — Any agreement between the United States and Russia must include Ukraine and the EU, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said Sunday, as the two countries prepared for talks on a possible ceasefire in Ukraine.
“Any deal between the US and Russia must include the EU and Ukraine, because it is about the security of Ukraine and all of Europe,” she said.
K. Kallas said she would convene an online meeting of EU foreign ministers on Monday to discuss “our next steps.”
