Library No. 44 named after V.G. Korolenko will hold a lecture-presentation dedicated to the architect-restorer Alexander Latkov.

A graduate of the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, he received a large silver medal for his design of a classical gymnasium. For 20 years, Alexander Latkov worked as an architect at the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, where he built many buildings, including the stone bell tower next to the library that has survived to this day. In 1918, he participated in the restoration of the Moscow Kremlin.
