"The patriotic camp "Youth of Moscow. Capital. Summer" was held for young city residents for the fourth time. In addition to a rich educational block, a sports program and tracks on the basics of safety in the city were traditionally prepared for the participants. The highlight of the camp this year was the immersion of children in Russian identity through participation in master classes on traditional folk crafts," shared

Ekaterina Dragunova, Chairman of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy of Moscow.

In each shift, participants were treated to lectures, master classes, meetings with public figures and famous experts. The camp speakers included Deputy Chairperson of the Federation Council Inna Svyatenko, TV presenter and producer Dmitry Shepelev, Hero of Russia Maxim Bakharev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova, Military Commissioner of Moscow Maxim Loktev, singer Irakli Pirtskhalava and many other famous people.

In addition to the educational block, sports activities, flash mobs, thematic tasks, film screenings, talent shows and quizzes were organized for the children. The camp program also included sports tracks on the basics of safety in the city. Participants mastered such vital skills as the basics of self-defense and actions in emergency situations, and learned how to provide first aid.

Sports and Patriotism

The first shift of the "Achieve" camp united young athletes. Participants improved their physical skills, met champions and experts, and learned to train using a unique method of professionals. The main event of the shift was the parade of sports achievements, where young people demonstrated their personal records.

Representatives of patriotic associations and projects gathered for the "Remember" shift. More than 60 young people from the Donetsk People's Republic also joined the educational trip. The key event of the shift was participation in the ceremony of laying flowers at the Panfilov Memorial. A minute of silence and an enlarged copy of the Victory Banner became a symbol of respect for the feat of those who gave their lives for the future of the Motherland.

"This trip was a real discovery of Russian culture and traditions for me. I was especially touched by how we, young people from different parts of the country, became one big team. Every day here was filled not only with new knowledge, but also with a deep understanding of our history, values, and what unites us. The atmosphere of sincerity and mutual understanding helps to open up and believe in yourself," shared Anastasia Sokolova, a participant in the trip.

For future managers

The "Improve Yourself" shift brought together young professionals and employees of state institutions. Project sessions and meetings with experts were organized for the participants. Representatives of student government gathered at the "Manage" shift. The guys developed events for first-year students, which they will be able to implement in their educational institutions this year. The educational race was also attended by vice-rectors of Moscow universities, who competed with the participants in passing sports tracks.

"Every day at the camp was filled with new impressions. We didn't just listen to lectures from experts, but actively communicated with them, asked questions, shared our experiences and found solutions together. Here everyone could express themselves, reveal their potential and find like-minded people. It was especially valuable that the mentors were always ready to support and help," said shift participant Anna Svetlova.
