TAIPEI, March 30 (Xinhua) — Zheng Liwen, chairwoman of China's Kuomintang (KMT) Party, expressed her gratitude on Monday and accepted an invitation to visit the Chinese mainland in April.
The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) and General Secretary Xi Jinping invited her to visit the mainland from April 7 to 12.
Zheng Liwen expressed hope that the two parties will work together to promote the peaceful development of cross-Strait relations, promote cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation, ensure peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait region, and improve people's well-being.
