BEIJING, March 29 (Xinhua) — The navy and air force of the People's Liberation Army's Southern Zone Combat Command (SZCC) conducted combat-ready patrols in the territorial waters and airspace above and around China's Huangyan Dao Island on Sunday.
Stressing that Huangyan Dao Island is an inalienable part of China's territory, the PLA Southwest Coastal Command said in a statement that since March, its naval and air forces have strengthened patrols in the above-mentioned areas and carried out tracking, monitoring, warning and expulsion operations in accordance with laws and regulations.
