Minsk, March 28 (Xinhua) — The National Bank of Belarus has decided to lower a number of standard risk estimates (SRE) for April 2026. The corresponding information was published by the National Bank's press service on Friday.

Thus, for new fixed-term irrevocable bank deposits of individuals in Belarusian rubles with a maturity of one to three years, the interest rate will decrease from 14.34% to 14.14% per annum. For new loans issued to legal entities (excluding preferential and investment loans), the interest rate will decrease from 12.91% to 12.8% per annum. For new loans issued to individuals (excluding preferential loans), the interest rate will decrease from 18.49% to 18.26% per annum.

The interest rates for new fixed-term irrevocable bank deposits of individuals in Belarusian rubles with a maturity of more than three years have not changed – 15.31% per annum, as well as for new investment loans provided to legal entities (excluding preferential loans) – 11.8% per annum.

The RVSR indicates a conditional limit for interest rates for banks, exceeding which is a sign of risky behavior. –0–
