KATHMANDU, March 27 (Xinhua) — Rastriya Swatantra (National Independent Party) leader Balendra Shah took oath as Nepal's prime minister at a special ceremony at the presidential residence in the capital Kathmandu on Friday.
During the ceremony, President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of allegiance and secrecy to the new Prime Minister.
A few hours before the ceremony, B. Shah was appointed the 47th Prime Minister of the country in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal. –0–
