Operations on the marine transport support vessel, operating between Yongxing and Zhaoshu Islands in Sansha City, Hainan Province, began on January 7, 2025. The vessel connects the two islands like a "sea bus." Its commissioning helped solve the problem of inconvenient transportation between the islands and significantly improved working and living conditions for personnel living on the islands. The vessel has become an important transportation artery linking Yongxing and Zhaoshu Islands.
According to statistics, in 2025, this “maritime public transport” made 831 round trips, carrying a total of 11,558 people.
