BEIJING, March 26 (Xinhua) — Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with outgoing Indian Ambassador to China Pradeep Kumar Rawat in Beijing on Thursday.
Wang Yi, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, said that under the strategic guidance of the two leaders, China-India relations have embarked on the right track of improvement and development.
In the face of a volatile and turbulent international situation, China stands ready to work with India to implement the important agreements reached by the leaders of the two countries, expand mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, protect the common interests of countries in the Global South, and enhance multilateral cooperation within the framework of mechanisms such as BRICS, so as to consolidate the hard-won positive momentum in bilateral relations.
