Moscow, March 25 (Xinhua) – Each round of negotiations on Ukraine is a step toward a settlement, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated at a briefing on Wednesday.
“Perhaps each round of negotiations is a step toward truly finding a settlement formula, and for us, first and foremost, a formula that takes our interests into account,” noted D. Peskov.
“We remain open to negotiations,” he added.
According to a Kremlin spokesman, Russian-American contacts regarding Ukraine are continuing. "Moscow continues to communicate with the Americans through existing channels. We are receiving information about what's happening," he said.
