The Troitskoye Depot complex, designed to service trains on the metro line of the same name, will include 11 buildings and structures. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction. Vladimir Efimov.
"The largest building at the Troitskoye depot will be the production and administrative block. It will include administrative and maintenance buildings, a storage and repair facility, a motor depot, train wash areas, and wheel set turning areas. The total development area will exceed 112,000 square meters. Completion of the depot is scheduled for 2029," noted Vladimir Efimov.
The layout plan for the facilities on the territory of a transport enterprise will allow for more efficient use of land, improve worker comfort, and reduce travel time between buildings.
"The construction site for the future electric depot is located between the Kaluga and Novomikhaylovskoye Highways on the border of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative districts. The maximum number of personnel per work shift will be 540. Comfortable working and rest conditions will be created for the employees," explained Maxim Gaman, General Director of JSC Mosinzhproekt.
The Troitskoye Depot is designed for the storage, maintenance, and repair of electric trains on the Troitskaya Line, which will be one of the longest radial lines in the Moscow metro and the largest outside the Moscow Ring Road. The first phase of construction of the Troitskaya Line, with 11 stations, has been completed. The second phase, from Novomoskovskaya to Troitsk, is underway.
As a result, the new line will include 17 stations and extend over 43 kilometers. The line will extend from the ZIL station to the city of Troitsk. Its opening will improve traffic conditions in areas adjacent to the new metro stations in the southwest and south of the capital.

Mosinzhproekt is the general designer and general contractor for the construction of new Moscow metro lines and stations. Since 2011, the holding company has contributed to the construction and reconstruction of 84 metro stations, over 180 kilometers of lines, and 14 train depots.
