BEIJING, March 22 (Xinhua) — Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng said Sunday that China welcomes American enterprises to seize development opportunities in China and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with it.
He Lifeng, also a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the announcement during a meeting with a delegation of the US-China Business Council.
Noting that China-US relations are the most important bilateral relations in the world, He Lifeng expressed hope that the US-China Business Council will continue to play its role as a bridge, promoting friendly exchanges and the stable and healthy development of trade and economic relations between China and the United States.
The Vice Premier expressed hope that American enterprises can take full advantage of development opportunities in China, effectively utilize the potential of the Chinese market, and bring more stability and positive energy to China-US trade and economic relations.
U.S.-China Business Council Board Chairman Raj Subramaniam, Council President Sean Stein, and other members of the delegation noted that American business circles are optimistic about China's economic development prospects.
