Doha, March 22 (Xinhua) — Six people were killed and another was missing after a helicopter crashed in Qatari territorial waters, the country's Interior Ministry announced on Sunday.
The agency's statement said search and rescue teams were able to locate six of the seven people on board the helicopter, all of whom were declared dead.
Specialized teams continue intensive search operations for the missing person, the ministry added.
It was noted that the crashed helicopter experienced a technical malfunction while performing a scheduled mission. –0–
