Bishkek, March 21 (Xinhua) — A meeting to exchange experiences between Chinese-invested enterprises was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Friday. More than 100 representatives from Chinese-invested enterprises and Chinese trading companies in Kyrgyzstan, the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, and other institutions attended.
In her address, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping noted that over the past year, cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan in various fields has rapidly developed and achieved significant results. Bilateral trade and investment cooperation has reached a new level. Major projects, such as the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway and the Barskoon-Bedel highway, have progressed successfully, and high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has continued in greater depth and practicality.
The Chinese diplomat expressed hope that enterprises with Chinese capital in Kyrgyzstan will be able to operate in accordance with laws and regulations, actively fulfill their social responsibilities, and make new contributions to the development of Chinese-Kyrgyz practical cooperation.
Hou Huxiang, Chairman of the General Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan, stated that the association is ready to focus its efforts on enhancing its level of regulatory functioning, representativeness, and influence, as well as strengthening its capacity for public diplomacy, in order to make an even greater contribution to practical cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan.
During the event, awards were presented to enterprises that made outstanding contributions to Chinese-Kyrgyz practical cooperation and actively participated in the activities of the General Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan.
The event was organized by the Main Association of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan under the leadership of the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. –0–
