Moscow, March 20 (Xinhua) — Two people were killed in a light aircraft crash in Kolomna, Moscow Region, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Moscow Region reported on Friday.

"Information has been received about the crash of a light aircraft in the Kolomna urban district, near the banks of the Oka River. The two people on board were killed as a result of the crash," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.

According to emergency services, no fire broke out on the ground. The number of casualties is being investigated.
