SHANGHAI, March 20 (Xinhua) — A second Chinese-built large cruise ship undocked from its pier in Shanghai on Friday, marking another step toward its trial voyages and final commissioning as the country expands its position in the cruise tourism market.

The cruise ship "Adora Flora City" slowly emerged from the construction dock at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). According to the shipbuilder, it will now fully enter the mooring trials phase.

According to cruise ship operator Adora Cruises, interior finishing, system setup, and other work will be further accelerated. The ship is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of this year and will begin sailing international routes from Nansha International Cruise Port in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong Province in southern China. -0-
