The prestigious AJP Northwest Russia international jiu-jitsu tournament took place in St. Petersburg. Our girls from the Black Bears – Polytech sports club not only performed well, but also took the entire podium in their division!

The 2026 International Jiu-Jitsu Championship in St. Petersburg is being held under the auspices of the Abu Dhabi Jiu Jitsu Pro International Wrestling League. This year, organizers recorded approximately 700 athlete registrations, double the number from the first tournaments. Athletes from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and Spain participated in the competition.
Following the competition, athletes received ranking points. These points will be taken into account when qualifying for the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which will be held this year in Abu Dhabi.
