On March 16, the Beijing-Xiong'an New Area suburban express bus route officially launched as part of the express service network operating within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei metropolitan area. To date, this system has opened 12 routes and 57 branches, connecting Beijing with Yanjiao, Dachang, Xianghe, Guan, Yongqing, Bazhou, and Zhuozhou districts in Hebei Province, as well as Wuqing, Baodi, and other districts in Tianjin. A total of 163,000 trips have been made, carrying over 5.3 million passengers.
