Dushanbe, March 18 (Xinhua) — The Tajik government, at the direction of the president, has sent humanitarian aid to the people of Iran. The presidential press service reported this on Wednesday.

The total volume of humanitarian aid is 3,610 tons. This includes 45 tons of medications, as well as large quantities of sanitary and hygiene products, children's clothing, food, household items, and other essentials.

It is noted that the humanitarian aid convoy, consisting of 110 heavy-duty trucks, departed for Iran on March 18 and will arrive in the destination country shortly. –0–
