BEIJING, March 17 (Xinhua) — Xinhua News Agency Director-General Fu Hua met with Andre Basbaum, head of the Brazilian Communications Company (EBC), in Beijing on Tuesday.
Fu Hua noted that Xinhua is willing to work with the EBC to further strengthen information exchanges and resource sharing on topics such as high-level exchanges between China and Brazil, major joint projects, and outstanding cultural and people-to-people exchanges, so that the peoples of the two countries can more clearly experience the vitality and dynamism of the China-Brazil community of shared future through news reports.
A. Basbaum, for his part, said he was deeply impressed by Xinhua's development and expressed hope to strengthen cooperation with the news agency in order to contribute media to Brazil-China friendship and promote cooperation among media outlets in the Global South. –0–
