BEIJING, March 16 (Xinhua) — The crew of China's Shenzhou-21 spacecraft, aboard the Tiangong orbital station, conducted the second spacewalk of their mission on Monday, the China Manned Space Administration (CMSA) announced.
Three astronauts—Zhang Lu, Wu Fei, and Zhang Hongzhang—worked for approximately seven hours and completed their assigned tasks by 7:35 PM Beijing time. The astronauts were assisted by a robotic arm and a team of scientific and technical specialists on the ground.
Zhang Lu has completed a total of six spacewalks, making him one of the Chinese astronauts who has completed the most such missions to date.
