Tehran, March 16 (Xinhua) — Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei on Sunday evening reiterated his country's demand for compensation from the "enemy."
"We will seek compensation from the enemy, and if he refuses, we will take as much of his property as we deem necessary, and if that is impossible, we will destroy the same amount of his property," the Supreme Leader said on Telegram.
On February 28, Israel and the United States launched joint strikes on Tehran and several other Iranian cities, killing Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, along with senior military commanders and civilians.
