BEIJING, March 15 (Xinhua) — Events under the 10th China-Vietnam Friendly Exchange Program on Border and Defense Issues will be held in the second ten days of March this year, the Chinese Ministry of Defense said on Sunday.
These activities will be carried out in relevant areas and ports of China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Vietnam's Quang Ninh Province, as well as in the waters of Beibu Bay, the ministry said in a statement.
During the events, both sides will organize joint patrols and naval exercises, as well as conduct free medical consultations and cultural and sports programs with the participation of military personnel and civilians in border areas, the statement said. -0-
