JERUSALEM, March 14 (Xinhua) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Saturday issued a statement announcing the destruction of the main research center of the Iranian Space Agency in Tehran.
The IDF noted that the center, which was struck on the evening of March 13, housed strategic laboratories used for research, including the development of military satellites for surveillance, intelligence gathering, and targeting of targets throughout the Middle East.
According to the statement, the Israeli military also struck several sites in Tehran involved in the production of Iranian air defense systems, including a key plant for the systems. –0–
