Moscow, March 13 (Xinhua) – Russia hopes to continue trilateral talks on a Ukrainian settlement, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing on Friday.
“We hope that the next round will take place, but for now we have nothing to announce about specific agreements regarding the date and time of its holding,” he said.
According to the press secretary, Russia currently has no concerns that the war in Iran will distract the US from the Ukrainian settlement. "Our contacts with our American counterparts provide no grounds for such doubts," the Kremlin spokesman added.
D. Peskov also noted that Russia highly values the United States' willingness to assist in the Ukrainian settlement. "We continue to highly value the United States' willingness to mediate in the search for a peaceful resolution to the Ukrainian crisis," he emphasized.
