Ruslan Talipov graduated from the Faculty of Technical Cybernetics at the Polytechnic University in 2007. He studied evening classes alongside his job, so he didn't have the opportunity to immerse himself in the student atmosphere. Now, as an ambassador for SPbPU, Ruslan is enthusiastically making up for lost time: he participates in numerous events at his alma mater—and not alone, but with his family. He is supported by his wife, Larisa, a graduate of the Saint Petersburg Institute of Mechanical Engineering (PIM), which became part of the Polytechnic University in 2011, and their five children.

In an interview with the Politechnik newspaper, Ruslan spoke about his life position, family values, work, hobbies, and the importance of his connection to his alma mater.
