Rosneft Research and Development Center staff gave graduate students from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas a tour of the catalytic oil refining laboratories.

During the tour, students learned about the processes and specifics of developing and producing modern catalysts used in oil refining to produce various types of fuels and oils. They were shown catalyst testing equipment, much of which is manufactured in-house and installed by laboratory staff.

The Center's scientists also presented an exhibition of catalysts for winter and Arctic diesel fuels and high-octane gasolines, and shared their experience in developing them from concept to implementation.

The tour sparked interest in internships and employment opportunities at the research center. Career guidance, identification, support, and development of talented youth are key areas of the Company's youth policy.

Researchers at Rosneft's Research and Development Center regularly conduct tours of their laboratories for students from relevant universities, schoolchildren from Rosneft Classes, and activists from the Movement of the First, immersing them in the profession from their school days. University students have the opportunity to intern in laboratories and other departments under the guidance of experienced mentors, gain practical experience, prove themselves, and potentially find employment even before completing their studies.

Every year, approximately 200 Gubkin University students complete internships and internships at Rosneft. The best students and promising faculty are rewarded with corporate grants and scholarships. Furthermore, university students participate in Rosneft's scientific and technical conferences for young specialists, and the best students of Rosneft Classes from the Company's production regions are admitted to Gubkin Russian State University after graduating.
