Minsk, March 13 (Xinhua) — Belarus will reach a record-breaking tourism export volume of over $392 million in 2025, according to the press service of the country's Council of Ministers on Thursday.
"In 2025, Belarus will reach its highest tourism export volume in history—over $392 million, a 46 percent increase compared to 2024. The number of organized Belarusian tourists and excursionists traveling within the country increased almost fourfold compared to 2020, reaching 2.212 million. In 2024, this figure stood at 1.726 million," the press service of the Council of Ministers of Belarus noted.
The number of foreign citizen trips to Belarus increased by 13.6 percent, reaching 7.51 million. Tourism infrastructure is also developing. The number of hotels increased by 6.5 percent over 2025, reaching 1,167 units, while the number of rooms increased by 3.6 percent, reaching 42,525.
