Yerevan, March 12 (Xinhua) — Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received European Union Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner on Thursday, the prime minister's press service reported.
N. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of consistently developing cooperation with the European Union, noting the EU's continued support for the effective implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia. Furthermore, the Armenian Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the visa liberalization efforts between Armenia and the EU, which, he said, will be another important step towards deepening and expanding bilateral relations.
M. Brunner, in turn, emphasized that Armenia is successfully and effectively implementing the visa liberalization action plan. He expressed hope that consistent steps in this direction will lead to the expected results.
