It brings together over a thousand participants from various sectors whose activities are directly related to procurement. Over the course of three days, experts will discuss regulatory issues in Moscow procurement, the specifics of import substitution and the application of national regimes, changes in tax legislation, business support measures, the development of digital tools, and the implementation of artificial intelligence in public procurement. A key part of the event will be the presentation of the annual "Moscow Government Supplier" award. This award is given to entrepreneurs actively operating in the Moscow procurement market and conscientiously meeting all quality and delivery time requirements. Traditionally, the award is given to suppliers who supply essential goods and services to government agencies in sectors such as healthcare, construction, transportation, urban development and public services, social protection, and others," said Maria Bagreeva.
Speakers at the forum will include representatives of the city, electronic platforms for procurement market participants, the business community, and experts in economics and business.
"The program will be divided into thematic sections. On the first day, events will be held for contracting service specialists and customers, allowing them to discuss effective solutions and cutting-edge approaches in this area. The second day will bring together current and potential suppliers, who will learn about the opportunities available to businesses working with government procurement, in particular, how to participate in small-volume procurement on the supplier portal. Finally, on the third day, specialists directly overseeing the work of contracting services will discuss ways to modernize the procurement system and the competitive market," noted the head of the Moscow Department of Competition Policy. The event will conclude the three-day Tender Hack series hackathon. It will run from April 3rd to 5th and will focus on finding solutions to modernize the supplier portal's services. This time, teams will create a prototype for a personalized, smart product search system on the platform.
High school students, university students, and IT professionals are welcome to participate in the hackathon. The combination of innovative approaches to problems and specialist experience helps find modern and effective solutions to the challenges. The IT competition is organized by Moscow City Department for Competition PolicyIn 2024 and 2025, the Tender Hack project was awarded the national "Hackathons of Russia" award.
In the capital Department of Information Technology They added that the advantage of hackathons remains the opportunity to test multiple hypotheses in a short time. At the start of the three-day competition, teams are tasked with developing specific features for a supplier portal from scratch or proposing ideas for expanding the capabilities of existing services. Afterward, they delve into the business processes of participating in procurement and concluding contracts on the platform, study all the terms of the assigned task, and begin creating projects. Expertise in procurement systems is not required: thematic workshops and consultations are held throughout the competition.
