Small Business Moscow (SBM) invites you to a free meeting "Tax Reform 2026: Practical Tools and Algorithms for Business", which will take place on March 12 with the participation of the Federal Tax Service (FTS) of Russia and the prefecture of the Northern Administrative District.

The event will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:25 PM at the Baku Meeting Place district center, located at 12 Usievich Street. Experts will discuss how to operate under the new 2026 tax reform rules and what support measures are available to businesses.

Svetlana Timakina, Deputy Head of the Office Audits Department at the Moscow Federal Tax Service Inspectorate No. 43, will discuss the implementation of the automated simplified taxation system (autoSTS) this year. Participants will learn for whom this system will offer real savings, and for whom it is not suitable.

Dmitry Mitin, PhD in Economics, expert at the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia, and lecturer in the Department of Taxes and Tax Administration at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, explains who can receive value-added tax (VAT) benefits—exemptions and the application of zero and 10 percent rates.

Natalia Korikova, a member of the Platinum Federal Association of Outsourced Accountants in Moscow and a third-class adviser to the Russian Federation Civil Service, will explain how to properly respond to Federal Tax Service requests for data verification and clarification. She will provide step-by-step instructions on interacting with the tax authorities to help avoid penalties.

Natalia Frizon, a methodologist at SberResheniya, will discuss the specifics of tax control in 2026. Yuliana Osipova, owner of an online accounting agency, will discuss the new income thresholds for VAT.

The meetings are part of a list of events aimed at adapting Moscow businesses to changes in tax legislation.
